My car is tore up and I have to bum a ride to the clinic every day I have to dose in I don't want to be a trouble marker but weekly take homes would help me a lot!!!! I've done my part!!!

They do exactly what they say. They dose you with methadone so you don't use opiates. Stay below 100 and ykill be fine.

The only real negative thing I can say is that the lines can be ridiculously long, but haven't had that problem in about a month. The #1I can truly say wonderful things about would be my counselor!!! Top notch, understanding, listens to me & I'm not hesitant to talk to him about anything!! I have ALWAYS gotten the true sense that he is there because he sincerely cares about his clients & when u r talking to him he isn't busy with other things & he can repeat back to me something that might of caught his ear & look a little further into it!! He's as top notch as they come & when my depression really gets ahold of me, I feel confident and comfortable talking to him. He also gets the business side of it taken care of, ie… doesn't forget about paperwork so you can phase up or if you have a special request, he remembers! I would be devastated if he was to leave!!!! I am also very thankful that upper mng. Also saw how badly we NEEDED more dose nurses. I also have to say that I really like the nurses, special shout out to Terry, she & several others notice when I'm not my regular self and really depressed. And considering how many people that they see it makes me feel noticed & cared for. I know it doesn't have high ratings, but for me it has been a God send!! Thank u Metro & the ones that go that extra mile!! Some do see it & appreciate it!!

Never been to this one but wanted to respond to Shaun .... not true people say that but I know people who gave the Cullman one over 40,000 and on and off going for over 10 years not to mention the people he sent and they kicked him out... he's not the only one people get kicked out all the time and if they wanted that cash expulsion wouldn't happen they'd turn a blind eye especially considering circumstances of his health. Anyway it works for some for others it don't you gotta try and take it serious .... only increase bc you have too don't do it just to do it bc 70 mg and 200 mg feel no different the higher you go if you don't try hard to take care of yourself you will get bloated, gain weight, get pale, heat intolerant, etc you crave sweet ,but you just have to take care of you and only increase if you HAVE too.

Methadone treatment as the only thing that has saved my life yes it has its downfalls because it is very hard to come off of as far as any of the other opiates are concerned but the street drugs that are out there these days are not safe you don't know what you're getting and there are plenty of Staff here that are ready and willing to help you get to a comfortable dose and when you are ready to come off of it they will work with you and get you off of it how you would like to and I save environment

In my personal experience I did not start the clinic to get clean, but I ended up with a counselor who believed in me and pushed me to stay true to myself and simply be honest about whatever I was going through. I hated going there so I never wanted to talk or share, but she never let me wiggle around it. At some point I got motivated about taking care of myself and my love ones. I stopped using and received takehomes which makes life at the clinic way more convenient. I must say this before you step through those doors and commit make sure you research what you are about to do. The first few months are tough but make your goal and out there as well. Methadone is highly addictive and tuff to detox off of. I'm on day 6 it's and it's no going back. Just educate yourself... I would never have gotten clean without the clinic. While you're there use your resources, there is a lot out there for folks us. You just gotta research. Thanks Brenda for believing in me.

I rated them a five star only because treatment saved my life. I have been there for eight years. Please be aware that you are required to come in for bottle checks or lose your take home meds. Today I found out that when they call you in for a check they call from different area codes....robo calling....if your phone blocks these calls...you lose your take homes. This is a new method....be aware. In my case I am charged for every call that I answer so now I have to answer calls from every area code in the world. They have set the patients up for failure or bankruptcy. .

It was quite positive, I was there for about 8 years. I left in Nov.. I really liked my counselor but I feel I limited her be/c I tend to operate in shut-down mode.
